Good with steam
Cotton, linen, wool, and many sturdy blends. Steam relaxes wrinkles faster.
Laundry and fabric
Use the lowest heat that works, add steam only when the fabric likes moisture, and protect anything shiny, stretchy, printed, or delicate.
Heat
| Fabric | Iron setting | Approx temp | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Acetate, acrylic, nylon | Low / 1 dot | 110 °C | Use inside out, no heavy steam, avoid lingering. |
| Silk | Low / 1 dot | 110 °C | Iron slightly damp inside out with a press cloth. |
| Polyester | Low-medium | 120-150 °C | Can shine or melt if too hot. |
| Wool | Medium / 2 dots | 150 °C | Steam through a press cloth; do not drag hard. |
| Cotton | High / 3 dots | 200 °C | Steam helps; iron while slightly damp. |
| Linen | High / 3 dots | 200 °C | Use moisture and firm pressure. |

Protect these
Heat can melt or crack graphics. Iron inside out or avoid the print.
Use steam from a distance or avoid heat entirely.
Heat weakens stretch fibers. Air dry and skip ironing.
Start with steam at a distance or low heat on a hidden seam.
